Laura Giuliani

The owner Laura Giuliani, after the studies of Law at the University of Milan undertook a solid formation that led to over thirty years of experience in the field of private investigations, corporate inquiries and personal security, on both national and international levels. On several occasions, Laura Giuliani has operated in interforce situations with both the Law Enforcement and Judicial Police under the mandate of the Judiciary.

Part of the FEDERPOL (Italian Federation of Private Institutes for Investigations, for Information and Security) Regional Executive for Lombardy since 1990s, Since 2001 Laura Giuliani:

  • In 2001 she took part in the parliamentary drafting of the T.U.L.P.S (legislative reform text of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety of the 1931), alongside all political groups at the Constitutional Affairs Commission of the Chamber of Deputies;
  • From 2002 to 2007 she first held the institutional position of National Secretary and then of National President of FEDERPOL, Italian Federation of Private Institutes for Investigations, for Information and Security, becoming the first under 40 and the first woman to have ever held that office. She received numerous awards, certifications and honors for the effective representation of the private investigators’ category in public and private institutions, both on a national and international level;
  • In 2005 Laura Giuliani has contributed to the reform of investigative matter from a regulatory perspective at the Ministry of the Interior (Public Security Division) by representing Italy in the special European commission Internationale Kommission Der Detektiv-Verbände (International Federation of Detectives, I.K.D.) for the establishment of minimum standards of access to the private investigator profession within the European Community. Laura Giuliani took part to the reform as consultant for the professional category at the Guarantor Authority for the Protection of Personal Data in Rome, for the purposes of drafting of the Code of Ethics and Good Conduct (Guarantor for the protection of personal data nr. 60 of 6 November 2008 - G.U. no. 275 of 24 November 2008)
  • From 2007 to 2012 she was Ambassador for Italy for W.A.D. (World Association of Detectives), the largest international association in the private investigation industry, founded in 1925;
  • From 2012 to 2016 she held the role of Area Governor for Europe for W.A.D. allowing her to be in close contact with the world’s most important investigation and security agencies;
  • From 2016 Laura Giuliani became a Member of the W.A.D. Board of Directors while being also nominated Vice-President of the Association;
  • On October 1st 2018, during the Las Vegas Conference, Laura Giuliani was unanimously elected President of W.A.D., becoming the first Italian woman to have ever held that office;
